Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football who played for the National Football League. He played for 17 years in the field. Considered one of America's best tight ends He has the NFL record for having the highest number of receiving yards of any tight end. He also ranks third in all time for the amount of receiving yards.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight-end with the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's Studio. Since the 2017 NFL season began, Gonzalez has been an integral part on FOX NFL KICKOFF, FOX's hour-long NFL pregame program that precedes FOX NFL Sunday. It airs every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET throughout the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on March 15, 2013 for a contract worth $14 million over two years, in spite of his claims that he would retire after the season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012, in 2012, and Gonzalez (37 an age) was the an NFL's most prolific receiver.
